Job Description
Q Investments is interested in hiring a senior real estate investment professional to function as a Portfolio Manager in our real estate investment effort. Specifically, we are interested in acquiring properties located in and around Texas and possibly the Southwest, so in-depth knowledge and extensive experience in these markets is preferred. We are only interested in experienced professionals who have sourced, evaluated, and executed deals through the process of acquiring commercial real estate properties (office, multi-family, hotel/leisure, industrial, etc). The ideal candidate has worked for a real estate investment fund and has a demonstrated track record of buying and selling significant real estate properties for a substantial profit.
Qualifications
Description
• Allocation of $50-$100 Million equity capital to the Portfolio Manager to invest in real estate opportunities (office, multi-family, hotel/leisure, industrial, etc.) in which this individual has a proven track record of success
• Wide discretion to invest the money, subject to certain broad guidelines
• Potential of additional capital depending on success. The firm is anticipating committing ~$200-$250 Million in capital to this asset class over the next 24-36 months
• While the Portfolio Manager is looking for the next investment property, he or she will receive a generous compensation package based upon years of experience
Requirements
• 10+ years experience in a senior real estate investing role with a highly successful real estate investment firm primarily focused on transactions in Texas/Southwest. We are looking solely for individuals who can demonstrate a track record of buying and selling properties.

Real Estate Analyst
Job Description
Q Investments is interested in hiring an experienced real estate analyst from a top real estate firm to assist in implementing our commercial real estate investment platform. This will be an opportunity to help formulate a new strategy and build an investment platform from the ground up with a diverse group of talented professionals within a world class organization.
We are interested in experienced professionals who have performed thorough analysis and due diligence across a broad array of property types including multi-family housing, retail, office and industrial. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience modeling complex real estate transactions for a top real estate investment or development firm or REIT.
Qualifications

Associate Portfolio Manager
Job Description
Q Investments is seeking an Associate Portfolio Manager to join the Investment Team. Q invests in many areas including convertible and pairs arbitrage, corporate high grade and high yield debt, emerging markets, distressed and bankruptcy securities, bank loans, mortgage-related securities, and more. This position will focus primarily on credit related investment opportunities.
Responsibilities:
• Assist senior PM’s with researching and monitoring new and existing investments
• Research and analyze macro trends in the high-yield and leveraged loan asset classes
• Generate new investment ideas along with senior PM’s for potential investment
• Screen for and review new investment opportunities independently
• Calculate and monitor portfolio analyses to understand overall fund beta
Qualifications
• 0-5 years experience
• Very strong educational pedigree and test scores
• Passion for the investments business

Business Affairs Attorney
Job Description
Q Investments is seeking an attorney to expand its Business Affairs division in the area of financing agreements and documentation. The Business Affairs division is unique because it is comprised of individuals with various skill sets and experiences, including MBAs and JDs. Business Affairs combines these various skill sets and experiences to maximize the returns of the company while minimizing the company’s overall risk. The Business Affairs Attorney will initially focus primarily on negotiating, preparing, and implementing agreements related to any of the firm’s lines of business. Examples of agreements include ISDAs, financing agreements, securities lending agreements, repurchase agreements, agreements related to the acquisition, sale and leasing of commercial aircraft, asset purchase agreements, etc. This position would be expected to develop quickly into a senior role with the firm and eventually would handle all aspects of deal flow in all areas of the business.
